Can't read my notifications

I just can’t read my notifications as they do not open and a timer comes every time . Though it shows a yellow spot on it suggesting having new notifications but it does not open up :(

(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/
