Can’t reblog

For some time now I’ve been having trouble with this. The share buttons appear on my iPad, but when I try to reblog or otherwise share a post, I get an error message. (Something to the effect that an error occurred, but no details.)
When I go to my pc, there are no share or like buttons at all.
I have had this problem for months, thinking it might sort itself out, but no, it hasn’t. -

I can see the Like and Sharing buttons on your site:

I also tested the buttons, and they all work as they should.
I assume you’re using Safari on the iPad, correct? Do you see the black admin bar at the top of the site when you’re viewing it in that browser? And if you click, say, the Facebook button, does it ask you to log into Facebook first, or does it immediately take you to the post interface? Or put differently, at which point in the sharing process do you get the error?
On your PC, what browser are you using? Is it showing the admin bar for you there, after you log into your WordPress.com account? (If you view the site while logged out you won’t see Like or Reblog buttons, as those are only available for logged-in users, but you should still see the social media sharing buttons.)

Hi. I think you might be confused. The problem I have is seeing like and sharing buttons on other people’s blogs. On my iPad, when I try to reblog I get a message saying there is an error, but it’s not specified. On my pc, there are no buttons. This is on nearly all sites I visit. Some I know can be reblogged, because others have done so.

It’s not just one site, but almost all of them. I know reblos, Press this, like etc buttons are there for others as they have successfully reblogged.

Hi there,
Have you tried logging in using a different browser on your to see if you have the same issue or clearing your browser’s cache?
It may be an issue of a browser extension conflicting with these buttons. I would try disabling any extensions you have on that particular browser to see if that resolves anything.

Thanks – let me know what you find. I am not entirely sure that the two issues are related, although they definitely appear to be. Are you using Safari on the iPad? or are you using the same browser on both the iPad and PC?
