Can’t recover account since email address doesn’t exist anymore
-
I have an old free wordpress blog which is not relevant anymore, so I would like to delete it. However, the account to which this wordpress was connected used an email address that does not exist anymore. Because of this, I’m unable to recover my account or delete my old blog!

the wordpress blog in question is:
https://derekcardol.wordpress.com/
My non-existing email that was linked to that account was:
(email visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi –
Thanks for writing to us and including the site address. The only way to delete a site is from the account that owns that site. You’ll need to provide us with specified proof of ownership in order for us to grant access to the account.
That information is here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
Write back with any other questions.

Thank you for your reply, however, this does not help me!
As I have mentioned before, the account which owns that site used an email address that does not exist anymore.
For account recovery I need:
– Transaction ID:
I used the free web-hosting service, so I never got this.
– Activiation URL:
I can’t access my old email account anymore. Therefore it’s impossible for me to retrieve this activation URL.What else can I do to remove my old wordpress site?

Thanks for checking. I’ve sent some more information to the email address on your Account Settings page — please reply to me there rather than here on the forums.
Thanks!
