Cant redirect my domain

Hello,
My domain esocdcu.com is managed by wordpress.com and I want to direct it towards my godaddy hosting. I changed the A records, changed it to the domain associated with the hosting account on GoDaddy’s end, and changed the nameservers, but when you visit the domain it still says its parked courtesy of wordpress.com, could anyone help?

Although esocdcu.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. It can take as long as 72 hours for DNS changes to become widely available. If you’re still not seeing your site redirecting, please wait a few more hours, clear your browser cache, and try again.

I took a look at the DNS changes you’ve done, and saw a few minor errors in it. I’ve gone ahead and made some corrections, and your domain should be pointing to your new servers in a few days. For reference, I followed these special instructions specifically for mapping a domain to Godaddy hosting:

I’m still having this problem, I’ve changed the nameservers also to see if that has helped but its still showing the wordpress parked page, can you help me with this?

Hey I’m not actually trying to transfer I’m looking to connect it to my godly hosting, I changed the a record and name servers on the wordpress side and changed it to my main domain on the godly side but the page is still saying its parked with wordpress.com, its been much more than 72 hours, about 2 weeks at this stage.

Please try going through all the instructions, and hopefully you can get your domain set up correctly. If you experience any trouble, just make note of the required IP address from Godaddy, and share it with me here so I can help you further.

An overview, its still linking to the WP parked domain page when I’ve changed the a record, cname, name servers and changed the domain on the godaddy end.

I’m sorry to hear that it still didn’t work. One other option you can look at is transfer your domain to Godaddy’s registrar. Though it may seem a bit of a hassle, your domain should start working once this is done.
