Can't Register .com Version of My Site
-
I was able to register the .wordpress.com version of my site, but I also want to regsiter the .com version. The name I want is available, but everytime I go to “My Blogs/Register A New Blog” enter all the details and push submit, it just throws up the same damn page again. And again. And again. I’ve tried clearing my cache and even tried using a different browser. What’s the deal?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you want your-site.com and not your-site.wordpress.com – then you need to register the new domain as a paid upgrade: Dashboard >> Store >> Add a Domain ( $ 5– / yr ) then if you want to have visitors enter your-site.com when they visit your site you need to purchase the domain mapping upgrade ( $ 12– / yr ) and map the domain to one of your blogs you have already registered.

Thanks for the quick and accurate response auxclass. I was trying to do it through the “Register a new blog” screen from the blog drop-down window and it wouldn’t work. New domain is already registered, mapped and functioning. I’m amazed. Thanks again!
