Can't register new domain

When I click ‘confirm’ etc on my paypal account to pay to use a domain I own instead of .wordpress.com, it goes back to my WordPress page, and nothing happened! The domain is still in my shopping cart, and my paypal account doesn’t show the activity. I tried twice, but I’m afraid it’ll charge me twice, so I don’t want to try again until I have a new perspective… Btw, I have a free WP account… do I need to have a ‘plan’ paying 3 dollars every month to use another domain? I was going to pay 13 dollars for it… And I’m from Brazil, the dollar is rather expensive for a small business… Thanks!

The domain I currently use is http://ateliemalumoura.wordpress.com/ and the one I want to change to is http://www.ateliemalumoura.com.br/

Hi there,
You have not been charged yet, as PayPal is blocking the transaction from their end. You will need to contact them to find out why they are not allowing the transaction to go through.
As your account is several years old it might still be possible for you to add mapping without a plan. But new accounts can only purchase or map domains as part of a plan.
