Can't remember email address OR password

I created a blog quite some time ago and used it only briefly. I can not remember the email address that is associated with the account and when I tried to have the password sent to my email address it did not come through to any of my existing email accounts. I now want to delete the blog since I have created a new one with my new wordpress account.

Is there a way to delete the old blog if I can not remember what email address I used or what the password is? I only know the username that I have with the blog. Can someone on staff delete it for me or work out a way for me to access the admin panel so I can do it?

I tried contacting wordpress directly for help, but they are not taking emails right now from those who haven’t upgraded to a paid blog.

Do you know the API key for the blog? http://en.support.wordpress.com/api-keys/ I’m asking because Staff have to have you prove to them that you are indeed the person who registered the blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

You can see at the contact page that they both contain the same contact information, and much of the same content on the other pages.

That blog belongs to a fresh[…] (at) gmail.com email address.

I can’t reveal more than that, but hopefully that helps to jog your memory.

When you remember the email address, you can use it via the Forgot Password link.

The problem is that there is some inaccurate information on the blog that I can’t access and it’s going to cause confusion.

Unfortunately, no. Besides just using the Forgot Password link, I would need to either receive an email from that email address or receive confirmation of your account’s API key to restore access.
