Can't remove default images – Imbalance Theme

    Hi everyone,

    Would appreciate some help with the widgets on Imbalance theme. I can’t seem to delete the default widgets – I would just like to have my own..

    Have tried deleting all widgets, activating then deleting new widgets but nothing seems to get rid of the defaults – which are navigation, post info and short link.

    Thanks :)

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Those aren’t widgets, they are the post metadata. You can’t remove them unless you have the paid Custom Design upgrade.

    I have paid for the Custom Design upgrade. How do I remove them then? I want my site to look like the theme demo.

    Thanks :)

    I’ll flag this thread so it’s moved to the CSS Forum where you can get the CSS editing help you need. Also note that the relevant information and live demo site for the version of Suburbia we have at WordPress.com are located at these links:

    You can hide the meta data from the top right of posts in the Suburbia theme using this CSS:

    .meta {
    	display: none;
    }

    The demo page you mentioned http://wpshower.com/demo/?theme=suburbia doesn’t exactly match the WordPress.com version of that theme. In the Surburbia theme at WordPress.com, you can modify the widgets in the footer and in the right sidebar for individual posts and pages but you cannot add widgets to the left sidebar on the home page.
