Can't Remove Featured Image

  I would like to remove the featured image of my blog post but to no avail. I have deleted the photos from my media as well as the featured image sections, but each time after I tried to save the blog post, the image reappear. While it does not show up on my post, it appears on my administration page where all my published posts and drafts are displayed.

  Please help! I cannot seem to find any solution on the forum! :-(

  I can’t get rid of the images uploaded for the header. I don’t want them to appear in the random mode. There is no option to remove them once they have been uploaded to the blog, or is there? The remove option doesn’t remove them at all. You can’t crop them after they’ve been uploaded either. Thank you.

  If you’ve removed a featured image with the “Remove featured image” link at the featured image module of a post, and deleted it from the media library, it is gone from your site. The fact that it remains present in My Sites > Posts after being removed and deleted might reflect a delay in response of caches in new admin pages to edits. Does refreshing the page have any effect? It should drop off eventually.
