Can't rename Blogroll

  Reposting, because I’ve had no response. Please help!

  I added a Links widget to my blog, but I don’t want it to be entitled Blogroll. After glancing through the forums I found my way to the Links categories, and added a new one ‘Blogs that Inspire Me.’ However, now I can’t find out how to activate that title. No matter what I try it’s still Blogroll. I’ve looked in Links and Widgets but can’t seem to see anything.

  Also, I want to have two or more sets of links, under different headings. The abovementioned Blogs that Inspire Me, as well as Helpful Websites and so on. But as I have two Links widgets, they both display the same Blogroll. How do I make these into separate lists of links?

  Hi. To insert and then rename your Link widget:

  Dashboard > Links > Link Categories > create more than one category > All Links > Edit Links > assign URL’s to those separate categories

  Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > insert 2 Links widgets into sidebar > open widget > select drop down menu > select category to show > save widget > do the same for the second widget, but with different category > save

  Reload blog.

  Sorry, the first step should be two different steps:

  1. Dashboard > Links > Link Categories > create more than one category

  2. Dashboard > Links > All Links > Edit Links > assign URL’s to those separate categories

  Hi, thanks. How do I assign URLs? I can only see options to Delete or filter (the only category which shows up in filter being Blogroll, not the ones I created).

  The individual ‘edit’ and ‘delete’ options appear when your cursor sits (hovers) on the URL.

  Put the cursor over a URL, select ‘edit’, and the options for assigning the URL to categories will come up.

  You’re welcome.

  Just make sure — if you want more than one Links widget in your sidebar — you have more than one category, and links assigned to each category.

  Then make sure you assign each widget their own category.
