Can't renew domain

    I am trying to renew/pay for a domain, and have been going in a circle for way too long. When I click ‘my sites,’ it shows me that the domain has expired. I click to renew it, and get a page that wants me to select an upgrade. I don’t want an upgrade. I want to renew our basic plan. I have tried everything I can, and cannot get to where I can pay the $18 to renew. Please help.

    Oh, for crying out loud. I finally figured out how to get to the payment page, put in my payment information, and now get a message telling me that “This subscription was originally purchased by another user. Please ask the subscription owner to renew the subscription.”
    That person is no longer around to renew. NOW WHAT??

    I have been having the same problem. How did you get to the payment page?

    To be honest, I don’t exactly remember. Try going to the page where the options at the top of the screen are Plans, Domains, Email. I’d been noodling around there, and got to Domains. There is a green button for “Primary Domain.” When I click that now, it brings me to a page where there’s a button for “Payment Settings.” That looks familiar, although if I click it now, it brings me to that blasted upgrade page.

    To solve my own problem (thanks so much, WordPress), I finally figured out to log in with the email that created the page, and then it let me pay for the domain. Oh, and automatically assigns my credit card to auto renew, which I don’t want, but I’ll figure that out later.

    I’m an admin on my own page. It shouldn’t be this hard.
