Can't renew my domain without upgrading

  I don’t want to upgrade my blog, but WordPress is forcing me to if I want to renew my domain. I just want to renew my domain, not upgrade. How can I do this?

  Hi there,

  I would be happy to assist you in renewing jowasthere.com. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into renewing the subscription upgrade. However, you should be able to renew the domain if logged into the account that owns the upgrade.

  How strange! It’s supposed to be associated with the account I originally posted from. In any case, logging in from my other account seems to be a step in the right direction; the page is telling me to “contact customer support” to renew.

  I was able to get in touch with another customer service rep and renew my domain.
