Can't renew primary domain

  For the site anastasiabrencick.com I’m trying to renew the primary domain but when I use the link to do renew (from email notification) it takes me to the screen for upgrading to a new plan. I don’t need to upgrade, only to renew the primary domain for $26.00. How can I do that?

  Are you logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the upgrade for it?

  When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you.

  Thanks for your reply. This site was originally done by my web designer, userid jannon7. But then the ownership was transferred to me and I am an administrator. So is there something else I need to do in order to update my domain registration?

  Hi anastasiabrencick!

  I checked your account and saw that you are the blog owner, but the owner of your domain still is the other user. You need to ask him to get in touch with us requesting to transfer the domain for your user. He can go at the link below to do it:

  Thanks, I’m actually the original owner of anastasiabrencick.com. My userid is jannon7 and I transferred the ownership to Anastasia but I guess it didn’t complete. I can’t get in to anastasiabrencick.com as a user anymore since I transferred it. I’m using her id to make these posts. Please let me know how I should notify you to complete this transfer. My main domain is janshannondesign.com.

  Hello Jan!

  Actually, what was transferred was the ownership of the blog, not the domain upgrade.

  Now, you need to log in at WordPress.com with your user (jannon7) and go to https://wordpress.com/help/contact and request to transfer. (you don’t need to be able to log in at “anastasiabrencick.com” to do that :) )
