Can’t reorder icons in Social icons Widget

    I changed to the Widget Block Editor view and is too slow, but manageable… The problem is that now I can’t reorder the icons. I would have to remove the links and add them again in the order I want to. The cursor does change to the ‘moving/dragging’ cursor but I can’t drag it, instead, it selects the text

    I will help you with reordering the Social Icons.

    Please follow the below-mentioned steps to reorder the Social Icons:

    • First, add all the social icons that you’d want to display on your site in any random order.
    • Next, click on any icon and you’ll see a toolbar. Have a look at this screenshot for your reference – https://prnt.sc/1rk0ksd
    • In the toolbar, there will be left and right arrows. Click on them to move your social icons and order them as per your convenience.

    The widget I’m trying to reorder is from my sidebar, I access it from the “Customize” option on my homepage. It seems to be a different one from which you explained to me maybe?

    I still haven’t figured it out…

    Thanks for sharing the screenshot.

    I see that you’re using the Social Icons (Jetpack) widget.

    I was able to reproduce this error on my end and have added it to GitHub so that the dev team can have a look at it.

    Meanwhile, I would suggest you use the Social Icons widget (https://prnt.sc/1rk6kdx) that I have used in my screenshot above.

    Now it works!! Thank you Kamlesh :)

    I think it was converted from Classic to Blocks, now I have used directly the Social Icons Block and it works and appears exactly like yours.
