can't replace my old email address with new one

  trying to change my email address
  my old email was hacked and i changed to a new address: (email visible only to moderators and staff) .
  i received an email from wordpress telling me to click on the link if i did want to change to this new address. nothing happened when i clicked on the link. i’m afraid i’m going to get locked out of my blog. and when people leave comments, i’m not getting them at either my old or new email address. thanks for your assistance.
