Can’t reset password due to old email address linked to site

  Hi! It’s been a while since I updated my website. In the meantime, I think I may have gotten a new email address (can’t remember the timing). I keep trying to reset my password and each time it says the password reset email has been sent to me but I never get it. I am guessing it’s going to the old email address, which I have no access to. Please help! Thank you!

  Hi,

  Each account necessarily has a different account email address. The nngaborwriter account was created today, so it’s unrelated to the account that you’re referring to. The two accounts have different usernames and different email addresses.

  Have you lost the password to the other account? If not, then you should be able to log into the account with just the username and the password, unless you’ve got Two Step Authentication enabled. Once logged into the account you may change the account email address as described in the Update Email Address support page.

  If you you’ve lost the password and don’t have access to the account email address, then regaining access to the account could be a little tricky. The Account Recovery support page is the place to start, but it sounds like you’ll need to use the Account Recovery Form.

  Once logged into the account you may change the account email address as described in the Update Email Address support page.

  Changing the email address would make it possible to successfully complete the password reset process.
