Can't return screen option to 2 columns for posts – help!

  On my dashboard, under screen options, there’s a 1 column and 2 column setting for the post screen. I tried one column, didn’t like it, and now I can’t get it to return to 2 columns. I’m obviously missing something. When I check 2 column, it stays at one column. I tried signing out and re-trying, still nothing. Can someone please advise? Thanks.

  Never mind, thanks anyway. I got it. (I guess posting a query made me figure it out.)
