Can’t schedule Twitter Publicize

Hi all,
When I schedule a post and set the twitter publicize function, it doesn’t post an update to twitter at the eventual time of post publication. I go back to the post and find, without fail, that the Yahoo & Twitter tick boxes have un-ticked themselves. Anyone else having this issue?

That makes sense. Once staff is back on, report it as a bug. Twitter Publicize is, I believe, RSS related, and there’s been a longstanding problem with scheduled posts and RSS feeds.

I’ve used the twitter publicize feature twice. The first time the box seemed to uncheck itself. The second time the box was checked but the item hadn’t posted on twitter. The second time was just a few minutes ago.
In both cases when I hit the “Update Post” button they both posted immediately to twitter (the blog posts themselves had posted as scheduled a few hours previously).

I’m having this problem too. Hope they can have it fixed. :)
I like the Publicize tool though, it’s just less cool now because I schedule posts a lot.

yeah, same problem, the box keeps unchecking itself, and i need to go back and hit update post. kinda defeats the point of scheduling a post.

It’s confirmed, there is a small bug with Twitter to Publicize and scheduled posts. Look here at Mick reponse, from Automattic Staff: “No tweets on scheduled posts“.

Ah, great, I just opened a thread on this very topic, which I’m finding very frustrating. Not sure why I didn’t see this thread before, because I did search before I started a new one.

looks this this is working now. My last two schedules posts were ‘publicized’ on twitter. thanks for clearing this up
