can't see admin bar, dashboard or categories
-
Hi, i’ve tried with Safari and Chrome, cleaning the cache and all data but nothing changes:
I can’t see the gray admin bar on top of any page,
I can’t insert a category to my blog posts
and i can’t even access the real dashboard, with all the controls, but only the blue “reader” section. Also tried using the “https” secure connection.
Please help me!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can access the blog instantly using Firefox 23.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/safari-ipad-clear-cache.htm
(b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(b) And what any error reports you receive state. -
Thank you for your help, but maybe I didn’t explained well, sorry for my english.
I can access the site, i can even login, no problem with that.
The problem is that i don’t have the dashboard, and that’s what i mean for “dashboard” : Image of Dashboard
I can’t see any grey bar on top of the pages but only a blue one.
When writing or modifying a post, I cannot insert any category to the posts and they all go out “uncategorized”.
I’m using Chrome 29 and Safari 6. I’ve followed all the recommendations, cleared cache and cookies, used https, activated third party cookies and js…nothing work .
Maybe it’s a bug because the blog is too new? I’ve started it a few hours ago.
Thanks.

That image is of a WordPress>ORG install dashboard. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We do not provide support at WordPress.COM for any installs of WordPress.ORG software. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs being hosted right here on this multiuser blogging platform.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-in and different versions of themes with same names.
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Ok, again i can’t explain well.
I Do have a wordpress.com free account.
So let’s make it easier: how can i put a category to my blog post? when i try to edit a blog post, all i get is this: My blog editor
And that’s a screenshot of my own blog.
Thanks again!

I can also add that when i click to the “W” (wordpress logo) on the top left corner, i’m redirected to the “reader” section, and not any admin panel or whatsoever.

Many people are reporting difficulty getting the dashboard to display properly. I flagged this for staff attention. In the meantime, this might help: http://it.forums.wordpress.com
