Can't see all followers

  I know of at least one person who clicked my RSS link and is receiving an email every time I post something new to my blog. But I don’t see this person on my list of followers (either email or comment).

  Why is that?

  Folks who follow your RSS feed are not listed as followers, only folks who follow via the WordPress.com reader or email through WordPress.com.

  Some RSS feed readers offer their own email, so I suspect this is what happened.

  Also, you have 13 folks who subscribed to receive email, but have not yet clicked the activation link in their confirmation email.

  So I have no way of knowing who clicked on my RSS feed widget on my blog, right?

  Yes, that is correct. We have no way of tracking third-party feed readers.

  Is there any way to know the number of times the RSS feed widget is clicked? Not who, but how many.

  I’m sorry, those stats are not tracked. There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested.
