Can’t see ‘Appearance – Editor’ in Dashboard

  I have recently been added a site editor to an existing WordPress blog. but can’t see ‘Appearance – Editor’ in the dashboard. The blog was originally started in 2008 or so. I also can’t see or access plug-ins. Any ideas?

  There are limits to what extent lesser user roles can modify the look of a site. An Editor can add/edit posts and pages. Perhaps only an Admin can add/edit themes and plugins?
