Can't see "explore topics" in Reader

  Ever since I started following some blogs, I’m not able to see the “explore topics” link when I go to the reader page.

  There’s a “follow a tag” box, but not the explore link. This incorrectly assumes I will want to (or *accidentally* forces me to) follow every tag that interests me instead of just occasionally looking them up.

  I have to click on “freshly pressed” and then click on “explore topics” from that page.

  Can you guys please add the explore link to readers that follow blogs? It would make it so much more convenient, consistent and less confusing if the menus were the same.

  Thanks for the feedback. Since you can follow/unfollow a tag at the click of the button the explore tag button was removed.

  You may always follow a tag by going directly to the URL of the tag you wish to follow. For example to view all posts for “birds” visit:
  https://wordpress.com/tag/birds

  I don’t follow tags, nor do I particularly want to.

  I just want it to be easier and quicker to use the feature I like best: exploring topics.

  Please put in a kind word to have it added back.

  I have spoken with our developers and the page the Explore Tags linked to is still available at: https://wordpress.com/tags/

  You may explore tags by visiting and/or bookmarking that URL.

  Your response doesn’t address my concern/ request. I know the page exists and how to get to it. My whole point was about making it easier to get there.

  Will wordpress add the explore topics link back to my main reader page?

  Yeah, man, you guys kinda borked things with the new reader. You can’t add topics to the follow list, either (add button is broken).

  The Explore Topics link will very likely be added back. How and exactly when haven’t been decided just yet though.

  The link bdukes posted above is the best workaround for the short term.

  Adding a new tag is working for me in Firefox 39.0 and Safari 8.0.7 but not on Chrome 43.0.2357.134 on Mac OS X 10.10.4 in my tests so far.

  Going to report the issue and see about getting it fixed. It looks like it is a new bug because I’m sure I tested that yesterday and it was working then! I’ll post again here as soon as I have more info.

  I’ll be happy when they add them back.
  I’ll be happier if they do a complete make-over utilizing marketing design principles.
  I also think surveys before changes and/or some writers being included in committees could be extremely insightful.
