I can’t get my featured images on my pages to show up . I’m using the Colinear theme and I’ve set them to the size it suggests but they don’t show. They show on the edit page but not when published. Please help!

Hi there,
Colinear doesn’t display featured images at the top of pages, although you may have worked with other themes before that do support featured images in the header area of posts/pages.
If support for such a feature is important for your site, then you may wish to consider a different theme. You can filter themes based on the Featured Images tag in our repository here:

Twenty Sixteen supports featured images in the header area of its pages, and is similar to Colinear’s nice, minimal design. I encourage you to have an experiment and browse about, too. :)
Please don’t hesitate to let us know if any extra questions come up on that.

So what is the featured image referred to in the overview of the theme?

The theme support featured images for posts (not pages). It displays a post’s featured image alongside it on the theme’s main blog page and also near the top of the individual post.
