Can't see Follow Button

    Hi everyone,

    I’ve had trouble following WordPress blogs ever since I created my account. When I go to a WP blog, there’s no follow button that appears at the bottom right corner. Also, for my own blog, when I add the “Follow button” widget to the sidebar, nothing appears.

    Any help?

    Hi Lilian,

    Can you please give a few links to sites where you don’t see the follow button?

    Please note that the follow button only appears on WordPress.com sites, and then only if they have more than one post published on the site.

    Self-hosted sites running the open source version of WordPress found on WordPress.org will not show the follow button. But provided such a site is connected to a WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin, they can add our external follow button or our email follow widget to the site instead:

    Also, for my own blog, when I add the “Follow button” widget to the sidebar, nothing appears.

    Of which site are you speaking, please?

    I do see the external follow button added on https://stellaedesign.wordpress.com/, and it’s working fine for me. But that site also already shows a follow button in the action bar bottom-right on the site, so it’s not really necessary to add another button in the sidebar.
