Can't see followers

My actual blog page says that I have 14 followers. Counting the ones I can see through my account, I only have nine! Why can I not see all of my followers?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, that shows nine followers total (between WordPress and email). However, when you scroll to the bottom of my blog to where one can enter their email to become an email follower, it says that there are 14 followers.

Also, for the “modlook”, I’m certain that at least one other person is following me (that I can not see as a follower). I do not know who the other people that I can’t see are.

Hello,

I have gained followers and now see 14 on the link you sent me and my “People” page. However, on my actual blog at the bottom it says “You are following this blog, along with 18 other amazing people”.

The follow blog numbers are including the users who are connected through Publicize. Therefore, it is including your 5 Twitter followers as well. =)

I’m sorry – I’m not understanding that. I have 16 followers on the Twitter account that I have for the blog. Sorry for all of the questions! I appreciate your patience and your help.

The 19 followers you see on your blog site is the culmination of e-mail followers, WordPress.com followers, and publicize followers here.

In regards to why there is a discrepency between how many Twitter followers you have and how many are showing under your stats page, see our forum post here:

Okay, I will work on the Twitter followers.

However, I have a friend that submitted her email on my blog to follow me, got an email, and confirmed it, but I cannot see her as an email follower. I’m wondering if this is a part of the discrepancy and why I cannot see it?

What is your friend’s e-mail?

The e-mail will be redacted from public viewing and only I will be able to see it. I’ll check on my end and see if I see her submission.
