Cant See my new header that I uploaded
-
Hi Guys,
The Theme that I am using allows me to custom change my header, so i have uploaded a new header 2 days ago but when I loaded up my blog (kwanster.wordpress.com), I still only see my old header ( white background with multicolour small freckles). My new header has some teapots and cups on it. I already deleted the cookies and history in my browser, but I still cant see my new header. In my blog, under ‘Header’, my new image has already been uploaded. Anyone knows what can I do?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Make sure the image is in the exact dimensions the theme specifies. The one you uploaded is larger.

Hi! Thanks for replying my post! I made the header 720 × 180 pixels (screen resolution), so it shouldnt be larger now. But its not loading up on my blog :(! anyother suggestions?
really appriciate your time! -

I definitely pressed save! It even shows up as a preview on the header page. So I really dont know what is wrong!

@gagaunited: You don’t press save after uploading a header image.
@kwanster: Sorry, I hadn’t noticed that your header area isn’t the standard one of the theme. Do you have the Custom Design upgrade? If so, 720×180 doesn’t apply, and you cannot upload the image via Appearance>Header: you need to upload it via Media > Add New, copy the image URL and paste it in your CSS editor in place of the previous one.

Ah! You are a genius!!! Yes I do have CSS and it’s all working now!! Thank you so much for your help!!

You’re welcome!
(If I were a genius I would have given the right answer from the start! I cannot possibly remember the exact default appearance of all elements in all themes, but I could have noticed that your header image was a lot wider than 720.)
