Can’t see subscribers
-
I have setup a subscription option on my blog, and subscribed via a couple different email addresses to confirm it’s working. Any new posts come through immediately to the subscribed email addresses, but I can’t see any of those subscribers on my dashboard (there are none listed on the Subscriber page under Users, and when I download the CSV it is empty). Is there another step needed for these to be visible? Or will only paid subscribers be shown here?
Thanks!
Travis

Hello Travis,
It seems like you’re having trouble seeing your subscribers’ data on your dashboard. Don’t worry; I’m here to help!
It’s important to note that with WordPress.com, all subscribers (free and paid) should be visible on your Subscriber page under Users. If you’re not seeing any subscribers listed or the CSV is empty, an issue might need to be addressed.
To troubleshoot this, I recommend checking a few things:
1. Ensure that the email addresses used to subscribe are associated with user accounts on your site. Sometimes, subscribers might not appear if they haven’t created a WordPress.com user account with the subscribing email address.
2. Check if there are any plugins or settings that could be affecting the visibility of subscribers.
3. Review your subscription settings to ensure everything is configured correctly.
If, after checking these items, you still don’t see your subscribers, please don’t hesitate to reply for further assistance.
Additionally, we’d love to learn more about your blog and subscription goals. Understanding your objectives can help us provide even more tailored recommendations to optimize your subscription strategy.
Looking forward to helping you resolve this and exploring how WordPress.com can best support your blog ambitions!
