Can’t see upgrade, is this why?

  I found out my web host does not have high enough versions of PHP and MySQL. The mysql version is 3.23.58 and php is 4.3.10. Is this why I am not “seeing” the new version of WordPress that I so diligently upgraded (I followed the instructions to the letter). If this is the reason, I will feel better! I may change hosts, of course :-)

  I think you’re in the wrong forums. You want wordpress.org.

  We don’t install anything here at wp.com.

  Agreed. We’re running different software than you are. http://wordpress.org

  Gotta admit though that if your host is running both older versions of MySQL and PHP, (And quite older versions to boot. The 4.x track of PHP is up to 4.4.x.) I might consider a new host as you mention.

  I have to admit, I was having such a challenge with my host that I just created a new database and started a new blog on WordPress.org. A fresh new start!
