Can't Seem To Change Blog Address

  I’m having an issue changing my blog address. I want to change it from johanqin.wordpress.com to bythesea.wordpress.com, but when I try to change it, it says “Sorry, that site already exists!” So I open up a new tab and type in “bythesea.wordpress.com” but it says “bythesea.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.” This is completely perplexing my mind. Does anyone know how to fix this?

  If someone had that address and deleted it, it goes to a permanent trash bin. WP will not let anyone else reuse it. They have a post about it.
