Can’t seem to change domain?

  Hi everybody, WordPress support says that when you sign up for a website you automatically get a .wordpress.com domain. However, when I first tried to set up the domain I wasn’t given any .wordpress.com options—only weird options like .movie and .home.blog (which is what I have now). Is there any way I can change my domain now to .wordpress.com? In my domain settings, there is a window for ‘Change my site address’ but the button there doesn’t seem to be working.

  Hi there!

  Yes, you can change your site’s address. When you go to My Site>Manage>Domains and click on your current domain name, you’ll see the box where you can type the new address and, on the right, you’ll be able to choose the .wordpress.com subdomain, have a look here.
