Can't seem to embed gametrailer vids in my blog…
-
is there a way to add gametrailers to wordpress accepted embed sites? It’s a popular site and it’s a shame i can’t embed their vids in my page.
Here’s an example:
<iframe width=”640″ height=”360″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/UyxGeux7Xzk?feature=player_detailpage” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>
If there is something gametrailers needs to do, i’d be happy to spear head that as well.
Many thanks.

I post youtubes all the time using both the shortcode method http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/#embedding-with-a-shortcode and the other method. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/#embedding-with-a-url I did make sure the YouTube link was not hyperlinked http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/#troubleshooting
I have tried your youtube trailer link which I can view online without any issues both in my test blog and neither method is working. This thread is tagged for Staff intervention. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

We don’t use iframes on WordPress.com. If you use a different version of the YouTube URL, you can simply drop the link right into a post without any extra code, and it will embed the video.
For example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=UyxGeux7Xzk
(the link I got when I went to view the video on YouTube directly) works just fine.
