Can't seem to get rid of an empty blog

Hello I’m new to the blogging thing and because I had an account on wordpress from way way back thought I’d start a blog here…Problem is when I view my new blog up in the left hand corner it says my name and takes me to this http://ravko.wordpress.com/, which is just a big green screen…I’ve tried over and over to delete it and now need your help I just can’t seem to get rid of it…If anyone knows how I can delete this http://ravko.wordpress.com/, it will be much appreciated.

Do you really want to delete the blog? Deleted blog URLs cannot be recycled here.

Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.There is no content in the blog linked to above. When you delete the Hello World placeholder post you get a 404 (page not found) error on the front page of the blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/
Not to worry because as soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ -
I suggest that you simply make the blog “private” because you may want to use it again one day in the future and as I said above deleted blog URLs here are not recycled.
