Can’t seem to get rid of white space

  Hi there! My site is lynnandlayne.com and I am having a few problems…
  (1) I want the blog post title to be left aligned when showing the example on the main page and
  (2) When you open the blog post, I want there to be less white space between the blog post title and the date

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The site you’re referring lynnandlayne.com is not hosted on WordPress.com.
