Can't seem to setup a new domain with the Personal Plan
-
Hi All,
I’m missing something here. I’m trying to add a new blog, using the Personal (£3 a month) plan, and a new custom domain. But when I type my domain into the page at https://wordpress.com/start/personal/domains all the selectable options say “Included in WordPress.com Premium”, which is £7 a month. How do I do I setup a Personal plan with a custom domain, and not Premium?
Thanks,
-
Can you check what happens when you choose a selectable from the list?
It reads “Included in WordPress.com Premium” for me too, but when I choose a desired name and move forward, my checkout page shows WordPress.com Personal plan.
Can you check if this is same case for you too?

Howdy :)
Head over to wordpress.com/pricing/ and you can add the personal plan directly from there.
Next, go to your account and click on My Sites > Domains > Add and you should be able to proceed with the domain registration.
Write back with any other questions.

Thanks for your help guys.
I’m going to get started with a free account, and upgrade later.
Thanks again,
