Can't send email after mapping wordpress site to existing domain

    Hi
    I recently set up a new wordpress.com site to replace a friends existing website. We went through the process of mapping the new website to his existing domain name (hosted elsewhere).
    This is all working fine. The only problem I am having is with his emails.
    He is currently receiving emails to his old email address which is linked to his existing domain (i.e. (email visible only to moderators and staff)), but he cannot send from this account.
    I have had a look about and found the details for changing the DNS records – but is this what I should be looking at? The host gave us this as their domain – is this what is required?: 213.175.197.40

    You’ll need the MX records from your registrar:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/
