Can't set featured image from url in wordpress 3.5.1

  I just update my wordpress version to 3.5.1. But now I cant set the featured image from URL any more, only can set from uploaded image on my host. Any one know how to solve this problem? . I need to set featured image from URL because my host set the limit of file that I can upload to the host and my wordpress have a lot of pots so the featured images will one day excess the limitation. If set featured image from URL i can upload the featured image to another image host like flickr,photobucket…..I dont want to use timthumb because it increase the server load alot that make my site down. Please help me.
