Hi there,
I’ve gone ahead and set your domain as the primary address for your site.
If you have any more questions or if there’s anything else you need help with, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help.

I would like to set it to inspiretopray.com but currently it’s still showing that it’s still tied down to my previous host at hostpapa. DNS have been changed. I’m not sure what else to do so that inspiretopray.com is showing the contents of inspiredtopray.wordpress.com

Even though DNS updated is pointing to wordpress. It’s still not showing that it’s pointing to wordpress.
Please help.

Received some info from my previous host below, please help.
We have checked further and found the domain name inspiretopray.com is using the name servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comHowever , it looks like its DNS records on the name server provider still points the domain to the HostPapa IP address / A record : 69.90.160.170, which in turn points the domain to our server.
Please do change the IP address 69.90.160.170 via the DNS records you have at wordpress.com and replace it with the new IP address from your website hosting provider and that will re-point the domain to your new website hosting

Yes, that is correct. The domain A record is still pointing to the HostPapa IP address. Unfortunately, changing domain DNS records are not something Staff can do for you.
To fix this, you’ll need to go into your domain settings by visiting your domain manager page: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/inspiretopray.com
Then, click the three dot menu, choose “Manage DNS”, and on the next screen click the three dot menu as shown below and select “Restore default A records” – that should change them to point to WordPress.com
As with any DNS changes, it may take up to a day for that to fully reflect on the front end, but you should be all set! Please let us know if you still have trouble or if you have any other questions.
