Can't share the post on Facebook through the Sharing button in edit post.

    Hi there,
    Can you give more details about your question? Tell us what exactly is happening(showing some error message, can’t see the post shared, etc) so that we can help you properly.

    Make sure you have followed these steps correctly to share your post automatically from the edit post page when published.
    1. Go to My Site → Sharing.
    2. On the Publicize Your Posts section you will see various services that you cant connect to share your posts automatically.
    3. Click on the “Connect” button to connect to a service and then follow all the successive prompts/steps to connect.
    4. Once you have successfully connected to a service, you’ll see a Publicize section in the Publish box on your post editing/writing screen each time you write a new post.
    5. When you publish your post as usual, you’ll see it show up on the services you’ve enabled.

    I’ve been posting since last year and everything was okay until the previous post. The recent one (The white knight) wasn’t published on facebook but it was posted on others. I’ve reconnected it but, in vain. Please help.

    @dev7905 I checked the logs, and everything looks normal, but Facebook is returning some errors.

    Here’s what I get currently. Basically it says your image is too big. Before that, it said your title wasn’t set and the type wasn’t set, but I can see that in the logs too.

    If you don’t mind, maybe try re-uploadng your featured image. Then head to that link and choose “scrape again”. If you see the post show up normally, you should be able to go ahead and paste your link into Facebook manually.

    If you continue to have trouble with new posts, let us know.

    Thank you. It helped but, I had to manually copy the link into my status section unlike previous posts. Anyway, Thanks again. Cheerio!

    @dev7905 right, in this case you would have to manually copy and paste the link or republicize if your plan supports it.

    If you run into trouble with publicizing again, let us know. As far as I can tell, though, this was just a fluke. Cheers :)
