Can't sign in to gravatar with wordpress

  I have read this issue https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/stuck-in-a-loop-please-help?replies=5#post-2701886 and I have a similar issue.

  From my wordpress profile page, I go to change photo, then try to log into gravatar, then get to gravatar and are asked to log in with wordpress (the blue button), then I click that, and are redirected straight back to the gravatar log in with wordpress page. I can’t get past the blue button.

  For reference, when I tried to create my gravatar/wordpress ccount initially, I misspelled my email address, however I have since chaged this on wordpress.com and verified the email address change.
  Any help would be great.
