can't sign on to a blog

  Hi, WordPress folks,

  I follow several bloggers on WordPress, and am trying to add thereseborchard.com. When I click “follow,” I get this message: Your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address.

  I’m confused about what to do next! I’m using the same email address I use for other blogs I follow. I was so glad to see Therese has this blog as I used to follow her on Beyond Blue.

  Note that is a free hosted WordPress.COM blog and as you also have a WordPress.com username account under ghollyc, you ought to be able to follow that blog when you are logged in under your WordPress.com account.

  You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

  Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

  Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

  I’m using the same email address I use for other blogs I follow.

  HI ghollyc,

  Are you clicking on “Follow” from the admin bar, or the “Follow blog via email” option in the blog’s sidebar?

  Please make sure you’re currently logged in to WordPress.com, and that you have third-party cookies enabled:

  Thank you both for your quick responses.

  I am trying to “follow blog via email.”

  I did find I had cookies blocked, so unblocked them.

  I guess I’ll know within a few days if I’m an email follower!

  Hooray! If the blog URL is now found here http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/ you have resolved this issue.
