Can't sign up.

    Hello, I can’t register on wordpress (borrowed my friends account to write this) and I am supposed to be posting things daily for an assignment starting this week. We posted the following in the forums section but there was no reply and now it’s past the point where you can see it there so it probably won’t be answered. Any help would be appreciated, running out of time here and I don’t like Blogger, thanks!

    Can’t sign up/register for WordPress:

    Using this page, https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?ref=forum-topnav

    All 4 fields get green check marks, but when you hit “create blog” nothing happens, no email sent, just seems to refresh the page.

    3 browsers tried (safari, firefox, chrome), no email in spam folder or social tab in google, cache & cookies cleared.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Okay, figured it out. For anyone else with this problem, even if you get a green check, it doesn’t want your password to be simple, so it won’t let you advance before you make it more complex. (It should at least tell you that’s what the problem is, there’s no error message and the green check is totally misleading. Found the answer in a thread from January.)

    I’m glad you were able to sign-up and I apologize for the troubles! :)

    While the green check indicates that you’ve completed the field, you should still see errors appear if a password does not meet the mandatory criteria. Here are a couple examples I screenshotted just now:

    Did a similar error not appear when you entered passwords that were considered weak?
