Can't sign up/register for WordPress

  I am posting on behalf of someone else because it looks like you need to be registered to post here. Anyway, she can’t register. Using this page, https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?ref=forum-topnav

  All 4 fields get green check marks, but when you hit “create blog” nothing happens, no email sent, just seems to refresh the page.

  3 browsers tried (safari, firefox, chrome), no email in spam folder or social tab in google, cache & cookies cleared.

  Any help appreciated, thanks.

  Okay, figured it out. For anyone else with this problem, even if you get a green check, it doesn’t want your password to be simple, so it won’t let you advance before you make it more complex. (It should at least tell you that’s what the problem is, there’s no error message and the green check is totally misleading. Found the answer in a thread from January.)
