can't start new blog, can't make changes to coding in pro bundle

    Hi there,

    I have two problems: the first is that I upgraded to the probundle some months ago but still cannot seem to change the coding of the look and feel, the theme of my blog. I have paid to have control of these things but am still limited. How can I be sure that my pro bundle has been registered properly?

    The second concern is that I am unable to start a new blog. Every time I click on “create a new blog” or “sign up” the page begins to load but never does. Please be aware of this problem and I suggest you fix it asap as patience is low and I myself will soon change to a new blogsite if this problem persists

    When I look at your Custom Design page in your Dashboard it looks like the upgrade is active:

    Are you unable to make changes from here?

    In regards to your inability to create a blog, is this the page that you say won’t load?

    Hi again,

    Thanks for getting back to me, much appreciated. Yes that is the sign up link that won’t load. Its been a couple of days of retrying and it continues to be blank.

    Regarding the upgrade and custom design, The link you sent me doesn’t seem to be loading either. However from before I can tell you that I can change fonts and colours from the selections but I thought I would be able to go into the coding and edit it? Basically I’m not sure what’s different from the free version as all options are the same?

    I have checked that my software is up to date ( I am using a mac) and that my safari etc is also up to date, if that helps.

    Hi there,

    When I look at your Custom Design Upgrade page I see three tabs, one for font, one for colors, and one for CSS. The CSS tab is where you can make changes to your theme’s stylesheet code. If you aren’t seeing this tab, could you take a screenshot that shows me what you do see and upload it to your Media Library? If you leave a link to it here I’ll be able to see it.

    It’s true that you see the same options here before and after you purchase the upgrade. However, prior to purchasing the upgrade any changes you make are preview only and cannot be saved. The ability to make your font, color, and CSS changes ‘stick’ is added once you purchase the upgrade.

    In regards to not being able to access the signup page, could you try accessing it in a different browser and let me know if the blank page problem persists?

    I’m afraid the sign up problem does in fact persist, I have tried in Google Chrome and the page still does not load properly. Some of the content is there but not entirely, and does not allow me to enter information or click on links.

    I’m so sorry that it’s taken a while to respond. Our department has been pretty much closed for the past few days.

    First let me ask if this problem is still affecting you? Are you still unable to load the new blog signup page below?

    If you’re still having troubles, could you please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies to make sure that there’s nothing preventing the page from loading? We have information on how to do so here:

    Thanks so much for giving these a try! If you could also make sure that if you have any anti-virus or web protection software in place, that you’re allowing WordPress.com through, that would be great (I know you’re on a Mac but such software is becoming more and more prevalent!).

    Hello,

    Yes problem is still there, and more and more wordpress pages aren’t loading. Mostly to do with my dashboard. I have cleared cache and cookies numerous times to no effect. Same goes for the antivirus software.

    This is a huge inconvenience and I am currently in the process of trying to cancel my upgrade with wordpress in order to move to a different platform

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having problems with our site and that you’re leaving us!

    If you’d like, I can cancel your products for you. You currently have a Value bundle and a domain with us. I can cancel the Value Bundle, however if you’d like me to cancel your domain, I would need for you to respond with the exact domain name that you want cancelled.

    Please keep in mind that once a domain name is cancelled it cannot be gotten back. It will be returned to the registry who will eventually release it to the general public, any of who may register it if they so desire.
