can't stop moderation – trying to allow auto comment posting

i’m trying to set up my blog so that people can comment with simply name and email, and won’t be moderated unless the message contains profanity or too many links… i set it all up according to instructions but it still forces all comments into moderation, which is very inconvenient and does not allow readers to engage in rapid conversation when they have a thought on the tip of their tongue. WHAT IS GOING WRONG? HOW DO I CORRECT IT?

BTW – i noticed there was a plugin called Akismet that was possibly interfering so i disabled it. maybe that will take care of it?I’ll keep you posted.

That site is not on our WordPress.COM servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
