Can’t subscribe to a wordpress.com blog using my email address

    When I submit my email address (that’s associated with my own wordpress.com account) to follow the blog at https://blog.splibrarian.com/, I get the following error in my own WP account: ‘Your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address.’

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi worldichoose,

    It sounds like you are logged out of WordPress.com and manually entering the email address in the sidebar on blog.splibrarian.com, is that correct? Or are you clicking the “Follow” button?

    I’ve checked the email address on your Account Settings page and we have been able to successfully send other emails to that address. Could you try using a different browser to see whether that makes a difference?

    If not, it would be great to know the following:

    • Whether you are logged in to WordPress.com, clicking the “Follow” button in the sidebar and then seeing an error message about the email address.
    • Or you are logged out of WordPress.com and manually entering your email address.
    • Does this happen why trying to subscribe to other WordPress.com sites, or just blog.splibrarian.com in particular?
