Can't Tell if I'm Fully an Admin on Site – Hired for Marketing

I got hired to help a client market their website. I’m seeing that I need to install plugins, etc, and do some minor code editing to get Google Analytics on board for SEO stuff, and to do this, I’ve seen I need to be an admin.

Client says she bumped up my privileges, but I still don’t see any sidebar for plugins, and my tools page is empty (which is not the case on my personally owned site, just her site where I’m a “guest” of sorts.)

I can’t tell if I am an admin or not, and wordpress, of course, has to be as confusing as humanly possible. After I figure out if I’m ad admin or not, still have 6 or 7 other issues I need to resolve for her website that I don’t anticipate being any less time-consuming than this one with how frustrating wordpress is. Several days of struggling into this already with no progress and desperate for help.

Why does WordPress have to be so user-UNfriendly, and how on earth do they stay afloat as a business with such bad customer service support???

You’re posting into the support forum for free sites hosted at WordPress.com such as https://hannahmorkcom.wordpress.com. That other site is hosted over at Wix. It will be using the WordPress.org software and you’ll need to register an account at the correct forum for advice.
