Can’t Transfer Blog

  I need to change the domain name of my blog from “gdc1joshuastocker” to “joshuastocker” as the gdc1 of the name is no longer needed
  So I set up another blog on my account with the domain “joshuastocker.wordpress.com” not realising that it would mean I can’t transfer my blog over because I own the new name already!

  Is there a way round this? I thought about deleting it to free the name again, but it seems if I delete it, I can’t use it again?

  Yes, if you delete it, you can never get that URL back. It is gone forever. Read the following support document on moving the old blog content over to the new one.
