Cant transfer domain

  I need someone to contact me urgently. I transferred my site off WordPress’ free hosting to a new paid hosting service and I’m now having problems with my domain. I want to transfer my domain to a new service but the ‘transfer domain’ link isnt appearing. Can someone contact me ASAP to get this sorted as my entire site is now not appearing.

  Just to clarify, have you registered this domain at WordPress.com within the last 60 days? If so you will not be able to transfer the domain yet. You can however point your nameservers to your current host to get your site online again. You can do this by editing your nameservers in the domain management section – https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/

  ns3.digitalocean.com

  @keegasingh no, I have had my domain with WordPress for years now. Thanks for the help though, it is very frustrating.

  @Wordpress I’m really unimpressed. It’s been hours and still no reply. I cant even find a number or email to contact someone directly.

  Hey @melbournefoodfiles you say the button to transfer your domain isn’t showing? That is peculiar. Just to make sure, here are two guides I found that show you how to transfer your domain from WordPress to another registrar:

  Thanks @scifiknux. There doesnt seem to be any information about the issue I’m having – the ‘transfer domain’ link just isnt there. I also cannot access the panel to change the WordPress.com name servers so cant even change them back as @keegansingh suggested. So my entire site has been down for over 24 hours now.

  Hi folks!

  @melbournefoodfiles, your domain seems to be registered through GoDaddy, actually. So we wouldn’t be able to transfer it. I do happen to have a link to GoDaddy’s how to on changing name servers though:
