Can't transfer domain ?

  Hi,

  I’m trying to transfer a domain to wordpress but I get an error telling me it can’t be transfered and I need to connect my domain instead.
  The domain is unlocked and I even have the authorization key so I’m not sure what’s wrong :/

  Have you definitely owned the domain for more than 60 days? That is a requirement to transfer domains here (or anywhere else for that matter). If you have the option to connect the domain you could do that and transfer it later. Note a paid plan will be required if you want to build a site here with a domain purchased elsewhere.
  PS: As a domain is included free for the first year with a paid plan registering a domain here if that is where you are going to build a site is always the easiest option.

  For completeness I’ll mention there are a few domains that cannot ever be transferred here (for various arcane reasons at registrars) and can only be connected.

  Oh that’s a .fr domain, I had no idea you couldn’t transfer those.
