    Hi John,

It looks like you’re trying to connect a domain you purchased from Namecheap to your WordPress.com site, and I’d be glad to walk you through the steps.

I had a look at your site: https://royalgrizzlyco1.wordpress.com, and I didn’t see the Namecheap domain added yet. Here’s what you’ll want to do:

    1. First, add your domain to your WordPress.com site.
    2. Then, log in to your Namecheap account and update the DNS records as needed.

This guide will walk you through the full process: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

Once you change the name servers, please allow up to 72 hours for the DNS to fully update, though it typically takes just a few hours for the changes to take effect.

Just a heads-up: to set your domain as the primary site address, you’ll need an active paid hosting plan. Along with making your domain primary, paid plans also unlock features like extra storage, access to premium themes, detailed stats, unlimited pages and posts, and more—depending on the plan you choose.

You can view all our plans and what’s included here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

If you’d like help getting your domain connected or choosing the plan that fits your needs best, just let me know—I’m here to help.
